Busy Bees

We use Harcourt's Storytown Reading series and our story this week was "The Bee" -- a nonfiction story. The writing skill was to write an informational paragraph.  I came up with this writing template for them to use as they read through the story looking for information.  Then I made this cute Bee Writing paper for them to write their finished stories on.  They look adorable!! Finally, thanks to The First Grade Sweet Life's blog  http://thefirstgradesweetlife.blogspot.com/2011/03/quick-spring-projects.html, we made these bees to put on the bulletin board along with their writing.  They really were busy bees this week!  Hope you can use this too!
